Events

The LockBox Foundation's future plans include but are not limited to (never set limits!!!):

Building a state of the art indoor riding arena with classrooms to begin a study of equine learning and service dog learning. Studies done at the Dolphin Institute in Grassy Key Florida found that children with disabilities that learn with dolphins learn 10 times as much 10 times faster. We would like to study if the effects are the same with therapy horses and service dogs. If our experiment obtains positive results, horses and dogs are accessible all over the country, not so with dolphins, it will change the face of learning for these children that find it difficult to learn in the standard learning environment.

A swimming facility is looming on the horizon for children with autism. These children and families will have access to the indoor swimming facility 7 days a week.
